"The History of Tea and Chocolate"
On June 19th, approximately 150 children and their parents listened to the Little Maids of History tell "The History of Tea and Chocolate in the 17th and 18th Centuries." The Little Maids described what it would have been like to have tea in the time of George Washington, and explained the curious origin and evolution of chocolate. The children and their parents were able to experience some of this history via the artifacts and examples the Little Maids had on display they also enjoyed tasting a variety of teas and tea cookies!
