"Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!"

Oh my gosh! Oh my gracious! What in Tarnation!?!

The Marshall Foundation sponsored a Seuss Celebration! On March 1st , more than 60 children and their parents came to the Morgantown Public Library to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss with readings of his stories, arts and crafts activities, and generous helpings of "Green Eggs & Ham." The event highlighted the impact of Dr. Seuss on the lives of young and old, and underscored the key role he has played in encouraging children to read. Perhaps Dr. Seuss said it best:

The more that you read,

the more things you will know.

The more that you learn,

the more places you'll go.

from "I Can Read With My Eyes Shut".
